Prambanan is a UNESCO World Heritage site located in Central Java, Indonesia. It can be easily accessed from Yogyakarta, which is a wonderful city to visit in itself.
Prambanan is a massive complex of beautiful Hindu temples dating back to the 9th Century dedicated to the Trimurti – Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. In 2006, a terrible earthquake affected the complex and many temples are still undergoing restoration.
